not entitled: the use of operator Matches is not allowed, a Business plan or a WAF Advanced plan is required
What is the issue you’re encountering
Every time I try to modify or create a new custom WAF rule I get an error saying only business can use the “matches” rule, regardless of whether I am actually using it
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I have tried to use eq, contains, in, … I always get the same error message
May I ask if you’re using a free or a paid Cloudflare plan?
What kind of Custom Rules are you trying to create in a WAF?
May I ask for which kind of source are you trying to create it?
Have you maxed out your available Custom Rules?
Are you trying to use Regex?
Are you the superadmin on the account where you are creating the rule?
This seems to happen few times in past and users needed to create a ticket with the Support and share it here so we’d escalate it to the team to double-check, if that’s the case.
