Unable to complete certificate renewal

I received an email regarding Cloudflare SSL certificate renewal for my domain name. " As part of the Cloudflare SSL certificate renewal process, we need you to re-approve the domain so that we can re-issue SSL certificates for use on our network."

I added the DNS record that was in the email.

However, when I click the link provided to validate the certificate, it says “An error occurred while attempting to validate your domain. Please try again later or contact support for assistance.”

Not really sure what to do from here. I’ve waited 24 hours and it’s still saying the same thing.

Are you referring to the domain under your account?
I see that the domain has active Universal SSL and backup SSL and the Universal SSL just renewed few days ago.

The DNS of the domain is also hosted by 3rd party vendor, hence the domain is not using the SSL under your account.
