I created a website for my small business through WIX. Whenever anyone goes to my website they see that it is unsecured (image uploaded). What steps do i need to take to secure it?
It looks like i need to remove the nameservers that were provided by Cloudflare but I’m not sure how to do that. I don’t actually see an option to remove them.
Any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Wix should create a certificate for your site automatically using Let’s Encrypt. What do you see when you visit your site using https:// in the address?
If your domain is registered with Cloudflare it is not possible to change the nameservers.
Good Day. Thanks for your reply. I did try your suggestion of using https:// ahead of my address. I’m still able to navigate to and see my site, however, I also still see the little silhouette with the red slash through it, up at the top to the left of the site address. When I hover over that it says “connection is not secure”. This is causing various connectivity issues (e.g. trying to navigate to my website via my LinkedIn company page, among others).
From what I can tell, it looks like I need to remove the nameservers that Cloudflare automatically provides and replace those with the wix NameServers. My issue is that I do not see an option to remove the Cloudflare nameservers.
