Unable to authenticate Domain with Mailchimp

Hey there,
I have my website hosted at Hostgator, but I’ve also been using Cloudfare for netter speeds etc.

On trying to verify the domain, i created d following entries in DNS ZONE Editor of C panel

CNAME

k1._domainkey.mydomain.com

dkim.mcsv.net

TXT

v=spf1 include:servers.mcsv.net ?all

However, on verifying on mailchimp, this message was seen " We tried to verify your DNS changes and did not detect the right values. Remember that DNS changes can take 24-48 hours to propagate through the internet.

DKIM: CNAME record for k1._domainkey.mydomain.com pointing to dkim.mcsv.net not found"

Please let me know
1.the reason of this failure… Also let me know,

2.do i need to add the Same CNAME nd TXT entries in the Cloudflare Dashboard as well??

Yes, you need to put these DNS records into Cloudflare. The cname should be set to the grey cloud/not proxied :grey:.

I just want to add this was extremely helpful. I knew something wasnt right and that certainly was the right fix.
