Cloudflare displays the error message Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains (e.g., example.com, not subdomain.example.com)

What are the steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Log in to Cloudflare and try to add the endercat.now.cc domain

  2. The error Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains (e.g., example.com, not subdomain.example.com) appears.

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode?
Yes, I have tried in Safari, Chrome and Firefox browsers, but I still cannot solve the verification failure problem.

I’m pretty sure that domains like endercat.now.cc can be added to Cloudflare, because many people have added them successfully, such as the misaka.now.cc domain, which has been successfully added to Cloudflare

Hi there,

endercat.now.cc is a subdomain of now.cc, that’s why you can’t add it, it would be like trying to add mysubdomain.mydomain.com instead of adding mydomain.com.

In other words, now.cc is not a valid TLD, the TLD is .cc.
