What is the issue you’re encountering
I’m trying to add my domain (lee.ma.us) to my Cloudflare account for DNS zone management, but I keep running into the error message listed.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I submitted a support ticket to Cloudflare regarding this issue, but they directed me to the community forums for assistance.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? I’m not sure what kind of hold is in place or how to go about getting it removed. The domain is owned and managed by my town, and I have administrative access to it. Any guidance on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
You’ll need to push back in the ticket. Zone holds are placed when the domain is an Enterprise account and the owner has placed a lock on it. If you don’t know who that was, support will have to fix it.
OK, thanks. It seems they use Cloudflare and that may be what is causing this message. Push on the ticket, hopefully some Cloudflare staff will pass by.
