Unable to add a site to cloudflare

Hi, I’m having difficulties adding a domain to Cloudflare.
When I’m trying to add my domain to my account it just says

“We were unable to identify <mydomain.domain> as a registered domain. Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains, etc, etc”

When I know that the domain is valid and online.
I have been waiting for more than 18 hours now.
Any ideas why this could happen?

I assume you are adding the root domain (eg: test.com) Would you check again?

I’m pretty new to Cloudflare so I don’t know what “Root Domain” is.

The only thing I’m doing is
Clicking on the “Add Site” button,
Typing my domain(purple.nah),
And just got the:
“We were unable to identify <mydomain.domain> as a registered domain. Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains, etc, etc”

That’s it.

These handshake TLDs are not supported today:

To add a domain to Cloudflare, it would need to be a valid ICANN TLD. You can purchase a new domain via Registrar a cost-price: Register a new domain · Cloudflare Registrar docs or you can use a domain from any other Registrar too, but it has to be an ICANN TLD.

So there’s nothing I can do but buy a new domain?

I really liked the “.nah” domain
