I recently purchased the domain from Clouflare and have added new DNS records to point to my web hosting provider’s servers. However, I’m unable to access my website, and DNS propagation checkers cannot find the DNS records. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
DNS not responding/updating
The DNS propagation for meadowtopia.com works just fine.
It does however seem like you have only created DNS records for www.meadowtopia.com, but not for the naked domain meadowtopia.com.
As such, if you try to access the website with meadowtopia.com, or otherwise try to run these DNS propagation checkers directly on the naked domain, meadowtopia.com, rather than the www.meadowtopia.com variant, that obviously won’t work, if the tool is expecting to see e.g. A or AAAA type records.
Thank you for your response. Just to clarify, I had already added the type A record for meadowtopia.com before I posed the question. Please refer to the screenshot below, which confirms the addition. FYI, I have two domains purchased from Cloudflare. The settings are identical, and one domain is working while the other is not. Please help. Thank you.
When your domain has been delegated to Cloudflare name servers, you MUST adjust the DNS records for your domain through Cloudflare.
The “DNS Management” screenshot you attached, is NOT Cloudflare.
