Unable to access *.cloudflare.com

Hi All,

I’ve been recently having some issues accessing pkg.cloudflare.com and cloudflare.com from my servers. I initially thought It was a firewalling issue, but I can see the connections are being allowed.

I’m not sure if Cloudflare has blocked my public IP for some reason, because I’m only able to access cloudflare.com via a VPN now. I have several sites being served through Argo tunnels, and they work just fine. (Presumably because they use cfargotunnel.com)
Is there another reason I might be having these issues? If not:
How can I find out why I was blocked?
Will I need to reach out to support?

Thanks

Are you running a Tor Exit node or run a service that might result in a blacklisted IP? I run it on a couple of servers and I know I can still use Tunnels but am unable to use the apt repo for cloudflared.

Nope nothing like that. I can’t think of anything that would get me blacklisted. I’ve had this IP for a year or so now and haven’t changed what services are behind it much. I’ve ran an AV scan just to see if I’d been compromised, but it’s come back clean.

Thanks

Any ideas? Is it easier if I try and get a new public IP?

Thanks

What error are you getting? Is a Cloudflare specific error code or just connection failed?

It was just connection failed. In typical fashion I’ve tried just now and it’s all back working perfectly. Perhaps I was rate limited or something, but there was no Cloudflare error page at all. Quite strange…
