phpmyadmin won’t open, I cannot edit files (Cloudflare actively blocks me from that one)
Cannot reach half my domain management stuff.
What is the point of this again? It’s so safe even I can’t manage it. Which makes it useless to me. I am waiting for things to filter through, and hope that by turning off all the proxies that I might be able to work this morning.
I spent all day Friday and half of Saturday getting this all setup, only to find out I screwed myself.
Cloudflare is protecting your site, you don’t want others using PMA or editing your files. To let yourself in you’ll need to make exceptions to the rules for yourself. The simplest is to add your IP address in IP Access Rules, or you can do more specific custom WAF rules.
thanks, figured out how to edit what I needed, still cannot access my databases though, so still unable to work. It does work for the single domain not moved over yet, so CF is certainly the issue.
this is a huge headache, one I really don’t need right now. Disabling on all and moving elsewhere I guess, This is just small, personal sites on a small V-Server. Hobby, not business, and the apparent learning curve is too steep
If you can’t connect to the database, make sure you are not connecting to the database through a proxied hostname. Either use localhost, the server’s IP address, or a “DNS only” hostname so those requests don’t try to go through Cloudflare which only proxied HTTP/S traffic (unless using Cloudflare Spectrum).
