What is the issue you’re encountering

Trouble updating the nameservers I have from godaddy to Cloudflare for DNS. I need to add in 2 nameservers from godaddy and not sure where to add them. I clicked on DNS records but that seams incorrect.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I clicked on DNS records but that seams incorrect. I attached a picture on where I am trying to add the 2 nameservers from godaddy.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Nameservers

That domain is registered with Cloudflare, so the name servers can not be changed. Rather than adding GoDaddy name servers, you would have to copy the GoDaddy DNS records to Cloudflare, such a A, MX, TXT, CNAME.

Yes I just copied the Godaddy DNS records. Where do I add them on Cloudflare?

The screenshot you added above, under “Screenshot of the error”, that indicate it is the DNS management for your domain, - that is the place where you add (or adjust) your DNS records.

Ok and for “name” next to “Type” does my name go there? It doesnt specify

The name of the DNS record goes into the name field.

For a subdomain like www.example.com, the name would be www, while records for example.com would have the name @.

Ok I don’t understand the @ part. it says use @ for the root. so for name I’ll put “www” and ignore putting the @ because I don’t need it? When I added the 2 sign it took away a “w” so I’m just not sure on that part.

As explained here.
