Triggering Google Analytics code on PDF and track them as pageviews

Hi,

Is it possible to load Google Analytics scripts on PDF pages?
We connected UA & GA4 tools within Zaraz and tried to track PDF file loads, but Zaraz does not send any data to the GA tool for PDF files. Does Zaraz work on PDFs?

We also tried custom HTML, where we added a GA tracking script and triggered it on PDF files, but it did not work.

Please help.

From my experience you cannot track PDF Files. You should track the “download click action” that the user is doing on your website/shop.

You can do this by using a trigger “element classes” oder “element id”
