I’m not sure how to phrase this, but I’m transferring my company’s website from JetRails, which uses their own Cloudflare account (and a set of Name Servers) to a different hosting company. When we transfer, we’ll switch Name Servers in GoDaddy to point to the Name Servers matched to the Cloudflare account that we own.
I’ve copied over all the DNS settings from the JetRails Cloudflare account to our Cloudflare account. I haven’t yet changed Name Servers in GoDaddy, of course.
My questions are:
- Are there any problems that will have to be addressed after the switch?
- Will there be any SSL issues? Cloudflare is issuing the certificate on both the JetRails system and the new system.
- Is there any way to test this switch ahead of time? Is it possible to somehow force my local computer to use a specific Name Server?
