I transferred my custom domain (www.youcansucceedathome.com) from GoDaddy to Cloudfare, updated the nameservers accordingly, SSL is set to full (recommended), reviewed the Welcome Center and followed all steps. When accessing https://www.youcansucceedathome.com, I receive the 404 error. However, when I entered http://www.youcansucceedathome.com, my GoDaddy site appears. I have searched the community and FAQs but I cannot find anything. I was going to try to transfer this domain back to GoDaddy but it is locked for 60 days. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this? Thank you!!
This this looks to me as an 404 error is from the host origin / server, not Cloudflare.
Altought, I am also not familiar what is DPS
stated in HTTP headers for a server
type?
Hopefully, Full (Strict) SSL
.
May I ask you to temporarly switch to cloud and wait for a minute-two, if anything changes?
Or, try to temporarly Pause Cloudflare for your site and see what happens, so we could troubleshoot what is going on here…
Well, I also see DNSSEC is being enabled for your domain.
Better to not transfer-it again back again as it could broke your Website even more.
Unfortunately, you would have to wait some time to transfer out - this is regular precedure.
That’s interesting that it works with HTTP, but not HTTPS. Was it working with HTTPS before you added it to Cloudflare?
Yes, this was working before the transfer.
I did temporarily switch to cloud and waited but still received 404. I have Paused Cloudflare on my site, for the time being. Thanks!!
- No, your site does not work with HTTPS at the origin.
- Seeing how you’re still getting a 404 after pausing Cloudflare, this is not a Cloudflare issue.
Thank you so much for your help!
