Transfer registrar to Cloudflare

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

After unlocking domain, how do I initiate the transfer at Cloudflare? I.e. domain doesn’t show up so I can’t do anything. Current registrar is namecheap. Nameservers point to A2Hosting.

In what area can we help you?

Domain transfer to Cloudflare

That domain’s already registered at Cloudflare, and wicked fast!

Are you sure you’re asking about the correct domain?

Somehow wrong domain was entered. I am trying to register flowerkissers.com.

All Cloudflare Registrar domains must use Cloudflare’s nameservers.

So you first need to add the domain to Cloudflare and update the nameservers at your current registrar… before the domain will be eligible for transfer.

Yes that domain is registered with Cloudflare. I am trying to register flowekissers.com.
After unlocking domain, I am getting Registry status: Client transfer prohibited. Please unlock and allow a few hours to update. How long does it usually take to show that it is unlocked?

You’re mxing up transfer vs register, with different domains. That makes it difficult to even understand your request.

The domain flowerkissers.com is currently pendingTransfer: https://whois.domaintools.com/flowerkissers.com

If you initiated the transfer, then just wait for the transfer to complete.

The domain flowekissers.com is currently unregistered. If you want to register this domain, you can do so from your Cloudflare dashboard under Domain Registration > Register Domains.

(I suspect flowekissers.com is a typo, but I’m mentioning it because you said “register” rather than “transfer”. But then you also mentioned having unlocked it, which doesn’t square with an unregistered domain.)

I did the lookup last night though I posted my response this morning.

I just checked again, and it seems the domain has now transferred to Cloudflare. If this hasn’t reflected in your Cloudflare dashboard yet or you’re still seeing the domain in your old registrar’s dashboard, give a little time for things to sort themselves out.
