I have recently purchased a business and need to transfer the domain over to my cloudflare account.
The business domain I purchased was registered with GoDaddy and the domain is hosted by cloudflare.
Is there a step by step guide I can follow to transfer this under my own cloudflare account? Or do I have to get Cloudflare technical support to move this over?
Simply add the domain to your own Cloudflare account and then switch the domain’s nameservers to those provided to you in your own Cloudflare dashboard. In that way the domain will move over to your account.
Ok thanks. But will this affect the email address and website associated to this domain? Do I have to do anything for these things?
Yes, you have to reconfigure the settings, including DNS records.
