We use sub domains as tracking domains for our outbound emails e.g. subdomain .TLD. com , with emails being sent via a third party provider such as snov .io. An issue which has been flagged recently by recipients recently is that when they click on a link in the email they are redirected to the tracking domain and not the link that they should be directed to.
We have updated the CNAME records for the tracking domain with proxy enabled but this doesn’t seem to solve the issue.
I’m trying it ascertain if this is a DNS issue and if so what can be done or whether this is a provider issue (looks less likely as has been seen across two different ones).
