What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Can someone from the Cloudflare team check my settings if I give you my username and password.

I have turned proxy on through cloudflare for my website and added a cache rule.

For some unknown reason I am now receiving more connections to my site than ever before.

The only way I have been able to reduce these connections is to turn on DDOS protection and set it to I am under attack. Once I turn this setting to high or middle my connection go up by thousands.

I am now thinking I may have done something wrong

Any help from the cloudflare team would be greatly appreciated.

You should not send your username/password on any website to any user, even if they are Cloudflare staff. Cloudflare staff members on relevant teams all have read-only access to your configuration and the ability to find your account from your Community profile, so there is no need for any of that.

Where are you seeing this represented, and is it causing a problem? Is there slowdown/errors on the site while this is happening? If you check the analaytics on Cloudflare, do you see anything unusual?
