Time to first byte increases when Cloudflare is on

We are on a PRO plan for Cloudflare. I had to pause Cloudflare on the website to analyse how the website was performing.

The majority traffic is from India with other traffic spread over US, UK and other countries. Is there any way Cloudflare can be used to cache pages to serve them at super speed?

You can definitely cache basically anything you like with Cloudflare:

Providing the content is static - you may need to use page rules to apply “Cache Everything” rules.

Time To First Byte with Cache HITs will be very low, so if you’re seeing an increase it will most likely be related to the time it takes to get a response from your origin. So your strategy of increasing your cache HITs is a good approach to take.
