Ticket 2188093 - cannot change account's email, says account already exists

Hello.

We’re trying to change account’s email but it says that an account with the new email already exists.

It indeed existed before, but later got deleted, so it looks like there is still some state in the system for that email.

Is it possible to do something to be able to change the email?

Hi there, when you delete an account, the e-mail cannot be re-used:

The email associated with a deleted account cannot be reused for up to a year after deactivation.

You would need to choose a different e-mail in this case.
