Hi,
Today I am not able to access my site and it’s showing me error:
This site can’t be reached
When I pause cloudflare on my site, it works normally and am able to access it.

Please look into this.

Thanks,
Ritesh

Are you able to share the domain and a screenshot of the error so we can have a look?

Hi,
Here is thef domain name:
https://demo.enlightguru.com/

And find attached the screenshot:

Thanks,
Ritesh

Hi!

It’s working fine here:

Sounds like an issue or cached value on your end.

Hi,
I have already cleared my cache before accessing the site. Another thing is that my IP is blocked from accessing the site as I am able to access the site from other devices/ISP.

Please check.
Thanks,
Ritesh

Can you post the output of

nslookup demo.enlightguru.com

and

ping demo.enlightguru.com

That is not what a Cloudflare block would look like, I still suspect something is cached.

Here are the output as requested:
nslookup demo.enlightguru.com output:

Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.2.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: demo.enlightguru.com.iballbatonwifi.com
Address: 204.16.194.75

ping demo.enlightguru.com output:

cloudflare guys got a bug and they dont want to accept it. Same situation with our site. Its down. Site cant be reached. Such a frustrating stuff

the nslookup command is resolving the ip of iballbatonwifi.com and not the Cloudflare IP of your website, can you try running

nslookup demo.enlightguru.com 1.1.1.1

@ronnie.matt, I really don’t think this looks too much like a Cloudflare bug. If Cloudflare was blocking access from an IP address for whatever reason, I wouldn’t expect you to see that error message. It is most likely an issue somewhere on the local network.

I am not the most experienced in issues like this so I will leave it for others to jump in now and give their thoughts.

I got the following:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>nslookup demo.enlightguru.com 1.1.1.1
Server: one.one.one.one
Address: 1.1.1.1

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: demo.enlightguru.com.iballbatonwifi.com
Address: 204.16.194.75

That definitely looks to me like an issue on the local network / wifi, however

Tagging @judge, @sandro, @sdayman, @matteo in the hope that one of them is around!

I have just paused cloudflare and now I am able to access the site. Also, I am getting ping reply.
This part I dont understand. Is it due to local network or something else?

C:\WINDOWS\system32>ping demo.enlightguru.com

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of your DNS page on CF? Blur out anything you don’t want to share IP/subdomain wise.

And if you enable Cloudflare it doesn’t work?! Would you mind trying so that I can take a quick look?

I just enabled it. Now site is not accessible to me.

Just out of curiosity are you using 1.1.1.1 as DNS? Because if I use 8.8.8.8 everything works.

edit and now works even on 1.1.1.1, there was a delay in updating the records, I can experiment it on all domains…

I think I haven’t configured anything. It’s all default configuration . Everything was working fine till yesterday. This issue started today only.

Yeah, but which DNS servers are you using on your machine? Because everything works fine on my end, IPs are Cloudflare’s.

It’s slow, but it was that way before.
