One fake report for phishing without any details was filled by a PR-agent working for adversary. Now the site displays “This website has been reported for potential phishing”. Is it really THAT simple to topple a news outlet?

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

The issue has nothing common with the real world. It is Wordpress, simple and plain. The ridiculous report ‘on phishing’ was filed by some PR agent interested in concealing critical information about her criminal client.
