The subdomain will not resolve to the destination i have

What is the name of the domain?

nimbusserverhosting.nimbushosting.gg.tlc

What is the issue you’re encountering

the cname record i have created is not resolving to the destination. Its supposed to be pointing at panel.wsip.gg and when i try to get there it does not work. no error code. dns probe finished nxdomain error

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

basic troubleshooting making sure the cname record is correct and the sub domain is correct. Im not sure if i need an A record for this to work.

Can you please confirm the correct domain name(s)?

The domain name wsip.gg does not exist, and as a result of that, there will be no DNS record(s) for the panel.wsip.gg name.

To be pointing CNAME record(s) towards panel.wsip.gg will therefore be an incorrect set up of your DNS.

I will therefore suggest that you consult with your hosting/service providers, in order to confirm the correct DNS record(s) to use.

That’s not where your CNAME points. Check the target and enter the fully qualified domain name for the host.

Edit: it appears you have corrected the target and it now resolves.

im now getting the 1014 error
