The SSL certificate does not take effect

What is the name of the domain?

freenn.top

What is the issue you’re encountering

The SSL certificate cannot be obtained

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

1.Modify the encryption mode
2.Disable Universal SSL
3.Swap for a free TLS certificate signed by Cloudflare
I’ve tried all the methods, but chrome access to https link still prompts: the connection of this site is not secure
panel.freenn.top Use an unsupported protocol.
I suspect it’s cloudflare that there is some failure, please help me solve the SSL certificate issue, thanks

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Flexible

Seems you are using a partial (CNAME) setup with a cdn.cloudflare.net hostname. Is this on a business plan?

Cloudflare origin certificates are only trusted by Cloudflare and require use of the proxy (so you will need to enable Universal SSL as well)…

Use only “Full (strict)” or “Strict” to ensure your connection is secured.

I’m using the previous Cloudflare Partner program.I’ve enabled Universal SSL but it still doesn’t work.

I’m not sure how that worked (there were a lot of China users with .top domains posting the same a while ago), someone will say if they know.

It’s probably easier to add the domain to your own Cloudflare account, using Cloudflare’s nameservers and DNS for your domain, so it is on a full setup in your own account rather than a partner.

I found that adding A records and CNAME records will not show the SSL certificate in the edge certificate list, but after binding the domain name through workers, the SSL certificate will be displayed in the edge list, for example: https://work.freenn.top So I have a bold guess: the reason why it can’t be accessed over https is that adding a new subdomain doesn’t trigger cloudflare to apply for a new SSL certificate
