The Name Server domain is not reachable from the Internet because there is a firewall or filtering router that is blocking connections to port 53 on this host for both UDP and TCP connections

My website, bnilagos.com.ng, suddenly went off line and showed “this site can’t be reached”. When I queried on DNSchecker, I found that the A record and the MX stopped resolving. A further inquiry into the issue got me this result.

  • The Name Server domain is not reachable from the Internet because there is a firewall or filtering router that is blocking connections to port 53 on this host for both UDP and TCP connections. The firewall configuration must permit connections on this port from any host on the Internet for the DNS to function properly.

Please tell me how to resolve this, as I have tried everything else and failed.

It’s unlikely that Cloudflare DNS servers are blocking connections to port 53, as that is their daily business…

Have you checked in your Cloudflare account whether the DNS records exist?
