No error… just can’t access the domain settings in cloudflare
What is the issue you’re encountering
I registered a new domain dsphandbook.org with Cloudflare. The website still says pending dns server update and I can’t manage the domain settings. I just get looped back to the main domains page when I click on manage domain.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I have tried to managed the domain settings but I don’t have access.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
May I ask do you get any error code at the Cloudflare Dashboard?
Not quite related, however due to my curiosity were you the Super Administrator or you’ve managed this domain as a member under some other Cloudflare’s Account?
Currently, domain is using to the next Cloudflare nameservers:
Name Server: eva.ns.cloudflare.com
Name Server: mark.ns.cloudflare.com
May I ask if those from above are the ones which are assigned to your Cloudflare account, or different ones?
Since it’s newely registered domain, just in case I’d give it 24 hours to see if anything changes due to the propagation.
Nevertheless, currently at the Cloudflare Status page there is an incident related to the Dashboard API. Not sure if it might have some impact to the Domains/Registrar as well
If not, may I ask have you tried contacting Cloudflare Support about this? You can open a ticket here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support . Share your ticket number here with us so we could escalate your case to the team.
I think that is the problem. I added the domain today. It pulled those nameservers but when I look at the site, it is looking for the nameservers to be dee.ns.cloudflare.com and derek.ns.cloudflare.com . It is my account and I am the super admin. I would update the nameservers if I could but I just get a redirect loop when I click on “manage”.
As @fritex said, you need to raise a Cloudflare Registrar ticket and ask for the nameservers to be updated for you. They will change them to dee and derek at the registrar end as the allocation of nameservers by Cloudflare’s systems is a security feature that cannot be bypassed.
Yeah… Actually, I have tried to submit a ticket but that appears to be broken as well. Every time I try to create a ticket I just get a “Looks like you already have a ticket for this issue” which is an old ticket. If I try to click on it, I am redirected to a page that says “Cannot locate dashboard account.” There is no option to create a new ticket and I can’t access the old tickets.
This is unbelievable there is no solutions to this problem. I can’t update nameservers on a new domain which is pointing to the wrong nameservers. And there is no option for support? Is there a way to transfer the domain? I can’t access the domain settings in any way with zero tech support options.
