I have installed Cloudflare on a Windows 10 workstation and have run the command that includes the token. However, the Cloudflare connector is not showing up in my dashboard. The main selling point of this product is that it does not require any firewall modifications to work. However, it seems that there may be a firewall in the university network that is blocking the connection.
I have tested this theory by setting up a virtual machine at home and performing the same actions, and the connector appeared in the dashboard without any issues. The workstation is a new Windows 10 installation without any endpoint protection, and I am able to access the internet from the machine without any problems.
I suspect that there may be an advanced threat protection mechanism that is blocking the Cloudflare packets from reaching the Cloudflare network and back, preventing the connector from connecting.
