Im using partial setup rather than full DNS at the moment.

Describe the issue you are having: when I go to the partial zone suffix for my website I get an error message advising that “The Connection for this site is not secure” “ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH”

What error message or number are you receiving? ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. read a lot of post on the forum
  2. tried a few of the suggestions regards turning off Universal SSL and turning back on again
  3. Turning off Universal SSL

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare? Yes, we have our own cert provided by DigiCert

What are the steps to reproduce the error:

  1. Visit the partial zone suffix url that I should be pointing my domain to (I havent changed my domain to point to this as yet as it doesnt work)

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode? Tried Incognito mode and tried Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox

Completely forgot to add that most of the search results ended with someone suggesting that the original poster should raise a ticket and it will be sorted.
