Is it somehow related to the DTAG or some of the Telekom group or not?

Have you tried contacting T-Online support for help or possible “allowlisting”?
How about WHOIS for the domain name? Is all the data okay?
Are you using SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
You can check by using the tool from below link:

Was your domain on some kind of “blocklist” or “spam list” since before, or still is?

What kind of message are you sending through?

Are your DNS records related to the email correctly configured at Cloudflare?

Yes, it is the original name of their Internet service and they still offer @t-online.de email addresses for their customers.

Does it actually say this in the error message?

I remember that when I started running my own email server a few years ago (also on Hetzner), I wasn’t able to send emails to @t-online.de either with the following error:
host mx00.t-online.de[194.25.134.8] refused to talk to me: 554 IP=xxxxx.1 - A problem occurred. (Ask your postmaster for help or to contact [email protected] to clarify.) (BL)

I contacted the email mentioned in the error message and it started working soon after. I believe they are just blocking IP ranges of many hosting providers by default and only unblock when you request it.
