Are you saying that the Forward Proxy should be where the Reverse Proxy is, and vice versa?

That would mean Cloudflare’s entire description of their reverse proxy service is wrong.

The article makes sense to me as it is.

It looks correct to me, too. The suggested alteration to the diagram would remove the forward proxy that it is intended to illustrate and add a reverse proxy in front of the origin servers.
