Hi,
A few of my clients are on the Business plan, and I’m deploying Cloudflare Health Checks for them to monitor real-world user-accessible pages (not just /alive).
However, it is inflating the Cloudflare Analytics. There’s no way to exclude the regular Health Check traffic from real ones.
Suggested solution
- Specify an user-agent, in the header when doing the checks on HTTP/HTTPS. That way, it could be excluded as a Browser and/or Operating System within the analytics tool
- Have an easy filter for with the above data pre-defined within Cloudflare Analytics for easier exclusions.
