Subdomain to port transform

Currently I have my guacamole server at www.domain.com:8080

As I am expanding the rack I am bringing the base webhost inhouse and it will be served at www.domain.com both http/https

Is there way to use a transform rule to make guacamole.domain.com = www.domain.com:8080 ?

Since I can’t “edit:”

I have attempted an origin rule using the port rewrite function but it does not behave as expected. The url in the address bar does not transform, nor do I see any requests on the modified port value.

For anybody who comes across this in a search later down the road.

I did figure this out. I didn’t have a dns entry for guacamole.domain.com so it wasn’t being routed to my location in the first place.

Added a new entry with guacamole as the prefix and problem solved.
