Ok so I have seen a few articles on this but most of them either didn’t fix what I’m wanting or didn’t work for the use case that I have. So what I would like to do is basically make say subdomain.example.com/* redirect to example.com/subdomain/*, BUT I do not want the redirect to appear in the URL I would like for the URL to stay as previously said redirect (I was going to retype the redirect here to make more sense but as a new user you can’t have more than 2 links in a post). I have gotten it to where it forwards the path to the redirected subdomain but I can’t seem to figure out how to make it so the subdomain stays in the URL.
This looks like a similar question to:
This can be done using workers. You can use https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/templates/pages/fetch_html/ and depending on the code returned from the origin you may also need to parse/rewrite the HTML https://developers.cloudflare.com/workers/reference/apis/html-rewriter/
Thank y’all for the replies I will most likely just live with it as my registrar (Google Domains) does not have a way to do this.
