I have a subdomain and have created a mail with my subdomain using cPanel like as [email protected] but I am unable to open the mail account using Gmail or Outlook. I know if I 
the mail hostname then it will work fine. But the problem here is that my mail hostname is same as my subdomain, i.e. my mail hostname is subdomain.domain.com but I don’t want to the subdomain. Can you please help me how can I work around.
You can’t have it both ways. Mail shouldn’t be hosted on the same server as the website. The only workaround would be to shift mail over to mail.sub.example.com
The mail has been hosted by default by cPanel on subdomain.domain.com .
Is it possible to change it?
