Subdomain (integrating Payment Rails)

Hi, I’m not very experienced with all of this technical stuff, so please bear with me :slight_smile:

I’m trying to integrate Payment Rails white labelling into our system.

This is our set up:

  • My domain (thesociablesociety.com) is registered with GoDaddy
  • The nameservers for the domain are pointing to Cloudflare
  • The A record in the DNS (in Cloudflare) point to Hostmonster’s servers (because my website is hosted with Hostmonster)

In order to set up Payment Rails white labelling, I need to create a subdomain (e.g. payments.thesociablesociety.com). Where do I create this subdomain? In GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Hostmonster? I tried creating it in Hostmonster, but the Payment Rails support agent said that I might need to add CNAME records in Cloudflare to make the subdomain active.

Can anyone help with this? I’ve been chatting with a Payment Rails support agent for about 2 hours and they don’t know how to fix this :frowning:
