Subdomain email not working, error

my main domain email regged on cloudflare is working… mail not working … is this because i am not enterprise level…

or is there some voodoo needs to be done in the dns? Mx record was made accordingly, still nothing… default error in the wp frontend “mail not sent, contact admin”

Any help/ workarounds… t.i.a.

If this is purely for mail sent from your WordPress install, make sure the hostname it’s trying to connect to is “DNS only”, or set it to localhost (if the mail server is on the same server) or the IP address of the server.

If it’s also used outside WordPress, make sure any mail related hostnames for the domain and the subdomain are not proxied and are set to “DNS only”.

Otherwise, what is the domain and subdomain?
