Subdomain (another IP) constantly changes A record to IP of main domain

You don’t. That is in place because you are using Cloudflare’s mail forwarding. Locking a DNS record isn’t a feature Cloudflare provides. Did you rotate the API key as suggested? Since you’re not using the API for anything, it shouldn’t make a difference to you. Why not try it and see what happens.

Really? That sounds like a cool feature. How have you configured it to make those changes?

Maybe the 7th time will get us there!

scharff, thank you very much for your help.

The problem is solved.

scharff, thank you very much for your help.

The cause of the problem:
1). I created API Tokens-1 for Domain-1.
API token templates were “Edit zone DNS ALL

2). I used API Tokens-1 in Server-1.

3). Then Domain-1 was deleted from Cloudflare. And a new Domain-2 was specified in Cloudflare. I used Domain-2 in Server-2.

4). But API Tokens-1 remained in Server-1.

In Cloudflare, I changed both Domain and Server, but the old Token-1 continued to work in the old server.

CONCLUSION:
Avoid creating Tokens with templates “Edit zone DNS ALL
