Stuck on "Invalid Nameservers" when adding a domain

What is the name of the domain?

cloatre.com

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to add my domain to transfer it to Cloudflare. However, Cloudflare still shows ‘Invalid Nameservers’. (I already transfert another domain successfully)

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  • I read all post, follow all steps, it is more that 24h, Cloudflare Nameservers are propagated correctly.
  • DNSEC is Off
  • Whois Privacy is Off
  • Registrar lock is Off
  • DNS records are OK. MX are functional.
Only thing is the domain www.cloatre.com is not resolving yet for some reason. (rule added to redirect to a URL) but should not cause issue to add the domain/transfert it.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

Nameservers

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Go to my provider and update nameservers to Cloudflare’s provided ones
Wait for 24+ hours
Cloudflare still shows “Invalid Nameservers”

You need to disable DNSSEC at your registrar.

You can check here: DNSSEC Debugger - cloatre.com
It says Found 1 DS records for cloatre.com in the com zone, which means DNSSEC is on.

That weird as I took care to disabled DNSSEC prior changing NS servers.
But I will communicate with my registrar asap to find out.
Current setting is disabled:

Also no DNSSEC records (from my registrar view…)

With this tool, I can see the record you are talking about, but again can not “see” it from my registrar access… :upside_down_face:

It isn’t the first time in history, where the control panels, at one or more domain registrars, are out of sync, and therefore aren’t matching reality.

Consulting your domain registrar, and insist, that they fix the problem (or escalate the issue towards the domain registry, if necessary), will be the only thing, that you can do from your side.

Confirmed! My registrar removed DNSSEC DS record.
My domain in Cloudflare became “active”. And I completed the domain transfer.
My domain is also resolving correctly now..

Thank you @Laudian to guide me on the right path!
