What is the issue you’re encountering

We are unable to add our domain and activate it either free or paid plan due to the 1258 error.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We tried to reach out to the developer who was managing our domain , he said that there is not pending payments with this domain, and since we don’t have access to his personal account which we believe he used for our domain to be added to the cloudflare CDN, we are unable to check or pay any unpaid invoices. If we could setup our account under our new company account, we would be glad to pay any pending dues associated with our domain and start using Cloudflare.

If your developer has the website in their account, you’ll need them to be on the ticket.

Can you reply to your own ticket via email and cc the email address of the superadmin on the account?

We have had a transition of web services from the previous developer, so that is why we don’t have access to the developer account which might have been the superadmin of the account. Is there any other way to move in this case?

I’d start by cc’ing the superadmin on the email and then reaching out to them asking them to reply.

Short of that, you’d need to move the zone (website, site) to a new account. Let us know how the process of contacting them goes.

I have added the superadmin account to the cc of this email. What should we do next?

The super admin of the other account would need to give Cloudflare permission to look into the cause of the 1258 error.

I am writing again as the admin mail account cced mentioned that they haven’t received the mail. I have asked them to reply to this email.

They have replied to the thread, but i don’t see it in the thread in Cloudflare community.

Not certain what that means, but I suspect they replied on a ticket not on this public Community topic.

i added their email id to the reply on this community thread, but it looks like its not getting updated with their reply. I am unsure if i have not done it right, i am trying to send this again with their email on cc.

A reply on the thread here won’t help, Support needs to resolve billing issues and they will do that :point_down:

Yes that is what i am exactly doing. Replying via email and adding their email to the CC.

The last response on that ticket 3322120 from you is from Friday and the superadmin is not copied.

Oh i am sorry, my mistake, i was replying to the community, i have now replied to the ticket with the superadmin email account. What do we do now?

Hi, this ticket 3322120 has been migrated to Salesforce. You should have received a new email regarding your new Case. You should answer to that email if you want to continue the conversation of your case.

I received this message that the ticket is migrated to Salesforce, but there has been no update on the ticket at salesforce. Anything we can do to expedite this?
