Storing images, should I use "Cloudflare Images" or the "R2" product?

I am storing images associated with a forum of mine.

The images do not need to be resized, edited, or cropped.

I want the most cost-effective, fastest and most reliable way to store them and then retrieve them for display.

I was looking at R2, but then “Cloudflare Images” popped up on my radar and it’s not clear what the differences are and which I should choose.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Cloudflare Images is, essentially, a product built on top of R2 and Image Resizing. It includes features you don’t need (resizing, editing, cropping). So R2 would be more cost-effective for you.
