I wanted to keep this quiet but apparently my plan doesn’t allow me to.
I’m still getting emails with web analytics from a project I’m no longer part of. I’ve disabled all communication from cloudflare yet I still receive it. Luckily the project isn’t in any way secret, so this isn’t a big deal, but I can imagine that if this were to happen in a sensitive project where privacy is a concern, this would lead to a lot of stress for some developer that had nothing to do with it in the first place.
For me it causes stress now because I’m receiving a work related yet completely unimportant email every Sunday without fail that makes me think about work for no reason. Any help would be appreciated.
I do see an email was delivered yesterday to the address you are using here.
Can you share the name of the domain (zone) associated with that project? I suspect you were not removed from it but can check to verify and/or get the right folks in Support involved. Sorry for the issues.
I’m not sure if posting the domain publicly is a good idea, so I’d rather not do that.
When I click on anything in the email I receive I get an “Authentication error (Code: 10000)” and a 404. Is it possible that I’m still in some notification notifier on the project, without being part of the project? I got in touch with the project admin a while ago and asked them to remove me from the emails, which they said they did. I still get them and find it rather weird that I don’t get a say in what emails I receive.
Is there any other way to get help that doesn’t involve forever posting the domain on here to be found by google? Thanks in advance.
That is helpful. Those errors usually indicate something is amiss with your account, I took steps to synchronize the permissions which may be the cause of why you’re getting those mails.
Understood. I’ll kick off a private message and we can dig into that offline.
