Step-by-step disabling IPv6 API

Can someone tech me how to disable IPv6 using API step-by-step?

There is a sample request on the API website.

Follow it… unfortunately I can’t link more precisely because the website has issues on iOS, not sure why.

https://api.cloudflare.com

To disable IPV6

Run following command

curl -X PATCH "https://api.cloudflare.com/client/v4/zones/ZONE_ID/settings/ipv6" \
     -H "X-Auth-Email: EMAIL" \
     -H "X-Auth-Key: GLOBAL_API_KEY" \
     -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
     --data '{"value":"off"}'

I can’t use commands. I’m hosting a webhotel

Hi @NorgePlayz,

Why do you want to disable IPv6? This is not generally considered a good idea, which is why is is not an option available in the dashboard, but requires the use of the API. You won’t be able to do it without using the API.

it’s a little complicated. my site will works with IPv6 but some user may have issues to join the site. And no, it’s not CloudFlare’s settings I setup

So your users cannot use Google, Facebook, CNN etc., which all have dual-stack IPv6 enabled on their public facing websites in the same way as your Cloudflare site? Or is there something different about your site?

Its need collecting IP from a video games to verify login account
