Static HTML page not working on Cloudflare Pages

Error 404

forestdean.com

I uploaded a simple index.html to Cloudflare Pages on 12th March, from a GitHub repository. The file was in the root directory.

I then added a custom domain as per the guidelines…

However, after purging the Cloudflare cache and waiting over a week …we still have an Error 404. As I am on a free plan, I can’t raise a Support Ticket so I have to ask the Community. Advice appreciated.

The repo is private so it’s hard to easily see but it seems like your index.html aren’t at the root of the repo.

Do you have it (and other pages) in a directory?

Thanks for looking.

I checked the repo & all looked good. Opened the index.html & added a few characters to force a Pages update …et voila …it works!
