Hello,
When creating a staging website (using Cloudway), I cannot access WP Admin as Cloudflare does not pass the bot check.
How can I resolve this?
Thank you!

Hi @business22
Try and create a custom firewall rule where you skip Super Bot Fight Mode on the path /wp-admin.
But start to look in your WAF events where you filter on path contains /wp-admin, so you can see exactly what security feature was triggered.
Hello, thank you for your answer.
Can you please help me with how I would go about doing that?
Since the staging website has a different domain/name.
Thanks!
To be more precise, in the cloudflare window while trying to login to wp-admin it says: “Invalid domain. Contact the Site Administrator if this problem persists.”
Hi @business22
I’m not sure I understand your statement “in the cloudflare window while trying to login to wp-admin it says: “Invalid domain.”
You can’t log in to your wp-admin through Cloudflare.
right now when I got to WAF events in one of your domains and filter on path contains /wp-admin, I see that there has been given managed challenge due to security level, so if this was you trying to access /wp-admin, you should create a custom firewall rule where you skip security level on path contains /wp-admin and then also include your IP.
Hello,
Thank you for the reply.
What I meant is the following:
The original site has the domain (example names used) testdomain(dot)com, whereas the staging site has the domain woocommerce-11111-11111(dot)cloudwaysapp(dot)com
Even when creating a custom friewall rule (for the domain testdomain) and trying to access wp-admin through the staging site, the cloudflare prompt under the username and password indicates the following error:
