SSL/TLS Changed from Flexible to Full automatically

What is the name of the domain?

katana.md

What is the issue you’re encountering

Site was down

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

check SSL/TLS options and move it back to Flexible

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Flexible

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I don’t ■■■■■■■ know. Cloudflare updates ■■■■■■ up the settings

Just choose the setting you want manually, automatic setting will track what your origin is capable of.

However “Flexible” and “Full” are legacy modes and not secure and so you should set and use “Full (strict)” ensuring you have a valid SSL certificate on your origin server.

For ■■■■’s sake, make it easier to report a bug! I don’t need support I just wanted to report a bug.
For some reason, the SSL/TLS settings where put to FULL instead of Flexible. And it crushed two of my websites. And it did not happen all at once, a few days ago first site failed, today the second one.
This is ridiculous because that’s the whole point of using Cloudflare

I understand the security issues, but that’s not the point. The settings where updated without my knowledge, and it messed up my settings.

You would have previously enabled the SSL recommender, so the auto selection takes over. That Cloudflare changed the mode indicates your origin did respond favourably when Cloudflare tested what modes can be supported.

If you don’t want Cloudflare to automatically set the mode, then set it manually. But do use “Full (strict)”.
