SSL Options greyed out

Hey guys, my hosting provider recommended disabling cloudflare SSL for my website. However, when I navigate to the page all of the options are greyed out so I can’t turn it off. I couldn’t find any info on this online. Do you know how I can fix this?

Whats your domain and why would they suggest that?

Can you post a screenshot?

Yep Imgur: The magic of the Internet

I have ssl from cloudways

The domain is witcherhour.com

Also, is this a partner setup or have you signed up directly on Cloudflare?

As far as I remember I signed up directly on Cloudflare in 2015.

This is probably greyed out as your domain is most likely inactive on Cloudflare right now. It does not point to Cloudflare, so right now you are not using Cloudflare.

That’s strange, it says active in my account and I have cloudflare connected through W3 total cache. Also, my other website doesn’t have greyed out SSL options.

Could this have something to do with the fact that I just migrated the site to a new host?

Your domain is currently using your registrar’s nameservers. You’d first need to change to Cloudflare if you want to use Cloudflare.

Are you sure about that? My other website uses cloudflare as well and I never needed to do anything with DNS.

You always need to change the nameservers (especially if you are not on a partner setup). If you havent done that, none of your sites is using Cloudflare.

Hmm, this guide on namecheap (my domain registrar) says I can use a CNAME record as well. I checked Cloudflare in my cpanel and there are two CNAME records for both of my domains.

NOTE : CNAME setup is available for paid Business or Enterprise Cloudflare plans.

I see. Thanks a lot for your help
