SSL on Subdomain isn't working, while non SSL loads up fine

Hello,

I’ve configured a different website from my main website on a subdomain. I achived that by creating a new A record pointing to a different server for this subdomain.
The site loads up fine with the non-SSL version, however when I try to access it via https:// for a secure connection I recieve an Error: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR.
I’m assuming that this has to do with the fact that the subdomain sits on a different IP server then the main domain, however I’m unable to figure out a way to sort out this issue. If anyone else has encountered this in the past and knows how to sort this issue.

  • I’ve tried activating and deactivating the “Always use SSL” option, however it didn’t make any difference.

Thank you

The certificate is active, no need to toggle. What happens @rebel if you :orange: the offers A record?

I’ve managed to solve the issue by installing an SSL Certificate with Cerboot on the new server where the subdomain is hosted. That seemed to fix my problem.
