SSL Not Working with Hostinger

I’ve been trying for hours, multiple ways. I don’t get it. I created a site with Hostinger, using Namecheap as the registrar.

1 - I point the DNS to Hostinger at Namecheap and install WordPress.
2 - I add the domain in Cloudflare.
3 - I change the DNS to Cloudflare at Namecheap.
4 - I install really simple SSL.
5 - I get a “this site can’t provide a secure” error and then Hostinger gives me a warning that my domain is not pointing to them.

So I don’t get it. I’m stuck.

I try a second way:

1 - I point the DNS to Hostiner at Namecheap.
2 - I install WordPress.
3 - I “activate” Cloudflare in Hostinger’s dashboard.
4 - I install really simple SSL
5 - I get a “This site can’t provide a secure connection”
6 - I’m unable to now log in to my site because really Simple SSL redirect http to https

So both ways just won’t work. I end up getting an error and having to uninstall WordPress and removing my site from Cloudflare. What am I doing wrong?

Your domain needs to be up and running with HTTPS before you add it to Cloudflare. Hostinger says their plans include free SSL.
