In the last few weeks, we’ve had multiple complaints about our websites having insecure connection errors as if the SSL has expired (it hasn’t). The most recent was a colleague using Firefox v47.0.2 which was only released in 2016. Updating the browser fixed the problem but our sites should be accessible regardless if someone updates their browser regularly.
Has anybody else run into this problem recently or has there been some sort of recent update that could be the root cause?
That’s like the Stone Age around here, but it’s probably related to Let’s Encrypt on older devices. Firefox 47 isn’t supported by anybody (including Mozilla), but maybe switching to Digicert will work.
