SSL from Hostgator with Cloudflare

#1

I use Hostgator for three domains. Hostgator now offers free SSL certificates for all domains using their service. In order to work, the A Name for the domain has to point to Hostgator.

One of my sites uses Cloudflare and I would like to keep it that way. Is there a setting that can be used to point to Hostgator while retaining Cloudflare service?

No, but I’m hoping you can set that DNS entry to :grey: to get Hostgator to install that SSL certificate, then set it back to :orange:.

(If you set the A record to Hostgator, you’re completely bypassing Cloudflare’s service.)
